Publication division to educate investors Training centre will offer short-term courses THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Capstocks and Securities (India) Private Limited, one of the leading stock-broking companies in the State, is opening a ‘knowledge centre’ here on February 9 to spread awareness on the financial sector among investors and the general public, the company’s managing director V. Rajendran has said. At a press conference here on Thursday night, he said the ‘Capstocks Knowledge Centre’ would have a publication division, a training centre and a wealth management wing. Tri-monthly magazineThe publication division will bring out titles intended to educate investors and students on stock market and other personal finance options. Besides daily, weekly and monthly newsletters, this division will launch a tri-monthly magazine for investors, featuring well-researched articles on stock market, mutual fund and upcoming initial public offers, in addition to other issues of financial relevance, Mr. Rajendran said. The training centre will offer short-term courses and seminars to help investors and students to track the movement of various scrips, buy and sell scrips at the right time and analyse a company’s fundamentals.
