Sathyabama University wins

CHENNAI: Sathyabama University basketball team won the all-India inter-collegiate tournament, organised by the Pondicherry Engineering College.

Sathyabama had beaten GRT, Coimbatore 66-40 in the final.

Ten teams, namely Loyola, MCC, Jeppiar, GRT, St. Joseph’s, Annamalai, Sathyabama, Guru Nanak, Pondy Engg. College and Al-Ameen, Bangalore, had taken part in the tournament.

Annamalai defeated MCC 68-43 to take the third place.
