2 held for ‘land grabbing’

Thousand Lights police have arrested two persons on charges of land grabbing. According to the police, the accused had prepared fake documents for a plot of land in Mogappair and had registered the document in the name of another person. Following a complaint by Jahbar Sadiq of Alalaiyur, the owner of the land, the police took up investigation that led to the arrest.
