Set Alight triumphs

Mumbai: Set Alight ridden by C.Rajendra won the Breeders’ Produce Stakes, the main event of the races held here on Saturday (Feb. 2). The winner is owned by Mr. & Mrs. Vijay Mallya rep. United Racing & Bloodstock Breeders Ltd. and trained by P. Shroff.

In this race, actually Autonomy had won. But an objection was raised by C. Rajendra rider of Set Alight against jockey R.Hughes (Autonomy up), that in the last 250 metres R.Hughes took his ground and closed his gap which cost him a certain race. The Stewards after watching the replay, decided to uphold the objection and revised the order.
