Shiv Kapur tied 5th

Dubai: Shiv Kapur leapfrogged to join Tiger Woods at tied fifth with a penultimate round of three-under 69 but there was no end to compatriot Jyoti Randhawa’s woes as the Delhi golfer returned 75, his worst card of the week, at the Dubai Desert Classic golf here on Saturday.

Jeev Milkha Singh, on the other hand, arrested the slide and carded 69 to put behind his nightmarish second round of 76 and finish tied 23rd.

Kapur did drop a shot on the eighth hole but did hardly anything wrong. The youngster birdied the fifth and 13th holes. — PTI
