‘Name airport after Kempe Gowda’

BANGALORE: The Bangalore Founder Kempe Gowda Central Committee has urged President Pratibha Patil to name the Bangalore International Airport at Devanahalli, near here, as Nadaprabhu Kempe Gowda International Airport. In a memorandum, the committee recalled the services of Kempe Gowda to the State and also to the development of the city.
