One killed in road accident

NEW DELHI: A 23-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a road accident at R.K. Puram here on Saturday.

According to the police, Vijender Singh was on his way to office in the morning when he accidentally hit a Delhi Transport Corporation bus near the Hyatt Hotel flyover and lost control over his motorcycle. He rammed into the railing and sustained serious head injuries.

He was taken to Safdarjung Hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Bus driver Raj Singh has been arrested. Vijender worked in a private firm at Lajpat Nagar.
