Two held on murder, robbery charges

NEW DELHI: Two persons have been arrested by the Special Cell of the Delhi police for alleged involvement in several cases of murder and robbery. Acting on a tip-off, the Special Cell team laid a trap near DDA market in Raghubir Nagar and arrested Krishan Murti. Later his alleged accomplice Raj Kumar of Shakurpur was also arrested. During interrogation, the two purportedly confessed to having robbed one Ghanshyam of Rs.1,750 and stabbing him to death.

The police claim to have worked out four cases of murder and robbery with the arrests.
