DPCC felicitates Jaipal Reddy

NEW DELHI: A delegation of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee led by its president J.P. Agarwal called on Union Urban Development Minister Jaipal Reddy on Saturday to felicitate him on the Ministry’s decision directing local bodies to suspend demolition and sealing operations and ordering de-sealing of properties. Accompanied by several party colleagues, Mr. Agarwal thanked the Minister and Congress president Sonia Gandhi “for heeding to the sentiments of people of Delhi and taking a decision that will give relief to thousands of people from sealing and demolition.”
Mr. Agarwal welcomed the Ministry’s decision and said that it would “free the people of Delhi from the demon of the BJP-ruled MCD’s sealing and demolition drive”.
