Conference on biodiversity

KOCHI: An international conference on ‘Biodiversity Conservation and Management’ will be held at the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) here from February 4 to 6.

The event is being organised jointly by the Rajiv Gandhi Chair in Contemporary Studies at Cochin University of Science and Techn ology (Cusat), Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit and Zoological Society of India.

A press release issued by the organisers said here on Saturday that Gangan Prathap, the newly-designated Vice-Chancellor of Cusat, will inaugurate the programme.
