Arrested for selling illicit liquor

METTUR: Prohibition and Enforcement Wing personnel arrested a person while smuggling illicit

liquor near here on Saturday. A team of police personnel intercepted a van during a vehicle check held on the Kolathur Palaru road and found 55 litres of illicit liquor stored in tubes. Police arrested the van driver Thavamani.

Further investigation was going on.
