Old woman found dead

VIZIANAGARM: An unidentified body of an old woman was found near Gunupurupeta in Denkada mandal on Sunday.

The woman, aged some 60 years, was clad in red sari. As there were bruises and scratches on the body, Bhogapuram CI Ch. Papa Rao suspected it to be a murder for gain.

The body was sent for a post-mortem examination to district headquarters hospital.
