Thiruvananthapuram: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has asked Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan to oust the Industries and Revenue Ministers for their alleged involvement in the HMT land deal. BJP State general secretary M.T. Ramesh said here on Sunday that Mr. Achuthanandan had led campaigns against the land mafia while in Opposition and as Chief Minister and if he was sincere and honest about it, he should seek the resignation of these Ministers. Mr. Ramesh, inaugurating the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha State committee meeting here on Sunday, said Mr. Achuthanandan’s Cabinet colleagues were acting as brokers to various land deals. Ministers had become protectors of vested interests.
