NEW DELHI: After months of speculation, India’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India has finally hiked the prices of all its cars by between Rs.1,000 and Rs.11,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi ). The hike is effective across all cities. The price of its entry level model M800 has been raised by Rs.1,000, while the hike in the prices of its highest selling model Alto is Rs.2,500. Its other hatchback models WagonR and Zen Estilo will now be dearer by Rs.3,500 and Rs.2,000 respectively. Prices of Omni van has also risen by Rs.2,500 and multi-utility vehicle Versa by Rs.4,000. The prices of Sedan SX4 and Gypsy have registered the maximum increase, Rs.11,000 and Rs.10,000 respectively.
