Lucknow: Nine people, including four children and two women, drowned when a boat ferrying them capsized on Saryu river in Faizabad district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. Four people swam to safety, SP (Faizabad city) G.N. Khanna said adding the boat was carrying 13 people when it sank. The incident happened near Jansar Ghat, he said adding the dead included four children and two women.
