JAIPUR: In a reshuffle in the State bureaucracy, 14 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including four District Collectors, were transferred in Rajasthan on Saturday. Those shifted included Barmer Collector Subir Kumar, who was recently pulled up for the questionable sale of huge tracts of land in the border district. Mr. Subir Kumar – transferred as the Registrar, State Revenue Board – was replaced by Krishna Kunal as the Barmer Collector, while Bhanu Prakash Eturu was posted as the new Collector in Banswara, Shikhar Agrawal in Bikaner and Ambarish Kumar in Jaisalmer in the orders issued on Saturday night. Rajat Kumar Mishra was posted as the new Finance Secretary, Ramesh Kumar as Secretary, State Election Commission, Alok Gupta as Managing Director, Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals Limited, and Vinod Pandya as the Nodal Officer, 13th Finance Commission. Vikas Sitaram Bhale was shifted as the Secretary, State Public Service Commission, Ravi Jain as Deputy Secretary, Personnel, Samit Sharma as Secretary, Urban Improvement Trust, Bhiwadi, and Poonam as Sub-Divisional Officer, Mount Abu. According to the orders, Kota Collector Abhay Kumar, promoted to the supertime scale, will remain at the same post, while Rajat Kumar Mishra was also promoted to the supertime scale. Four officers – Ambarish Kumar, Ravi Jain, Ravi Kumar Surpur and Samit Sharma – have been promoted to the senior salary scale.
