Housing project

Thiruvananthapuram: The State government has given administrative sanction to the housing scheme under the Tsunami Rehabilitation Project. The sanction is for constructing 11,000 houses in the first phase, according to an official statement here on Sunday. The statement said 2,356 houses would be constructed in Kollam, 4,544 in Alappuzha, 1,375 in Thiruvananthapuram, 486 in Ernakulam, 1,066 in Thrissur, 208 in Malappuram, 567 in Kozhikode, 128 in Kannur and 270 in Kasaragod.
