BANGALORE: Asha Foundation, an NGO working in the field of HIV/AIDS, has a toll-free 24-hour helpline, 1097, which provides information in Kannada and English.

The calls made on this IVRS helpline are anonymous and confidential. The foundation has a direct line, 23543333, offering counselling from Monday to Friday between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. and on Saturday between 9.30 a.m. to1 p.m., where both confidentiality and anonymity are assured.
