MANGALORE: The written examination for armed police constables for Dakshina Kannada district police was conducted at the St. Aloysius Pre University College here on Sunday. In all, 808 of 899 candidates who were eligible to write the examination, appeared for the examination, according to a press release from N. Sathish Kumar, Superintendent of Police. The examination was in objective type for 100 marks. Candidates were required to mark the correct answer on the optical marks sheets. On the basis of the result of this examination, candidates will be called for physical standards and efficiency test for which the date will be announced later.
