Hotstepper bags McDowell Indian Derby

Mumbai: Hotstepper ridden by M.J. Kinane won the McDowell Indian Derby the blue riband of the Mumbai season here on Sunday. The winner is owned by Mr. & Mrs. J.K. Rattonsey, Mrs. Shaheen Panjwani & Mrs. Sabiha Rayani. S.S. Shah trains the winner.

Mr. M.A.M. Ramaswamy was felicitated by the Stewards of RWITC in the paddock for his achievement of winning 500 classics.

The bumper prize of Mercedes Benz C-Class was won by Mrs. Tasneem H. Kachwalla. The other prize of Maruti Swift Car was won by Mr. Prabhakar.
