Ravindra PS lifts title

NEW DELHI: Fine knocks by Ashish Yadav (38) and Vijay Bhardwaj (34 not out) along with three-wicket bags by Chander Thapa and Sparsh Jain helped Ravindra Public School beat defending champion Sumit Dogra Academy by six wickets in the final of the eighth Shakuntala Dogra memorial cricket tournament at the Bharat Nagar ground here. Vijay Bhardwaj was declared the Man of the Match. Ravikant Saini, Gaurav Sharma and Ashish Yadav were adjudged the best batsman, best bowler and best all-rounder respectively.

Nakul Chopra was selected the best fielder and Pradeep Parashar won the Man of the Tournament award.

The scores: Sumit Dogra Academy 165 for nine in 45 overs lost to Ravindra PS 167 for four in 40.1 overs.
