PUDUCHERRY: Chief Minister N.Rangasamy has commended national executive committee member of the Communist Party of India R.Nallakannu for leading a dedicated life. Participating in a function here on Sunday to felicitate the CPI leader, who had been conferred with the Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Award instituted by the Tamil Nadu government, he said the youth could emulate him for his simplicity and austerity. The award had gone to a deserving person, he added. Mr.Nallakannu stressed the need for launching a consistent struggle against untouchability and crimes against women. He appealed to the youth to learn history so that they would be able to strive for brining about a change in society.
