Prabha’s ballet enthrals

TIRUPATI. Film actress and Kuchipudi dancer Prabha performed a scintillating dance ballet on ‘Navarasa Durga’ at the TTD’s Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on Sunday. The programme was organised by the Academy of Fine Arts, Tirupati.

Prabha, portraying the role of Goddess Mahishasuramardhini, enthralled the audience with all the nuances of the Kuchipudi dance form. Hariramamurthy gave an equally matching performance as Mahishasura supported by other artistes, particularly Srinivas. Vempati Ravisankar, son of Vempati Chinna Sathyam, composed the ballet. M. Venkatramana, MLA, and his wife Suguna feted Prabha and other artistes.
