JAIPUR: Key personnel from the government, leading companies, academia and other stakeholders will deliberate on bridging the gap between the requirements of industry and availability of technically qualified manpower at a conclave on human resources beginning here on February 12. The two-day conclave, “Young ambassadors: Connecting through HR”, is being organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) with the objective of integrating the human resource initiatives with the business practices. CII Rajasthan chairman R.K. Poddar said here on Monday that the event would help create linkages, share best practices and develop opportunities for all stakeholders, who would evolve a vision on bridging the qualitative and quantitative HR gap. “Though higher and technical education has made a significant contribution to economic development and social progress, a huge gap exists in the availability of human assets,” said Mr. Poddar, adding that the conclave was designed specifically to give a right direction to the industrial growth objectives.
