Amitabh family in Jaipur

Special Correspondent

JAIPUR: The Amitabh Bachchan family arrived in the Pink City on Monday amidst growing concern over their security in the wake of the fracas with the Nav Nirman Sena in Mumbai.

The elder Bachchans as well as Aishwarya and their friend Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh flew in separately during the day while the birthday boy, Abhishek Bachchan, was already in the city.

Information on their visit and stay was not forthcoming but the family checked in at Rambagh Palace Hotel, often used by the Bachchans while in the Rajasthan capital. The hotel sources however said the family had booked only for the day and the night stay was not confirmed.

Abhishek Bachchan some years back had celebrated his birthday, falling on February 5, in the same hotel with a host of dignitaries including the Rajasthan Chief Minister attending the late night party.
