Human sacrifice: skull sample sent for test

GUNTUR: The Prakasam district police have sent the skull sample of A. Srinivasa Rao, victim in the alleged human sacrifice case along with his photograph and DNA samples of his parents, to determine his identity and also find out what kind of injury he sustained. Six persons including the family of main accused D. Subramanayam are in the custody of police and being treated in the hospital. Inspector General of Police Satyanarayana said that one person named Ch. Suresh has already been remanded to custody by the Chirala court, while the police have sent a team of officials to Kavali to hunt for the woman, Shantamma, involved in the occult practice pooja. CI Mehboob Basha said that they were still in search of a cell phone and some other related material.
