Karunanidhi a valued partner: Congress

NEW DELHI: The All-India Congress Committee on Monday said Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK supremo M. Karunanidhi was a “valued coalition partner” of the United Progressive Alliance and that there was no question of a communication gap “real or imagined.”

Asked about Mr. Karunanidhi’s remark that he was ready for a change in power (in Tamil Nadu), Congress spokesman Abhishek Singhvi said: “Whatever issues, if at all, will be completely sorted out between the valued partners and not through the media.”
