Hundreds of activists from the fan clubs of the actor joined him in mourning the death and consoling the bereaved family. “Whatever be the cause of death, the loss of a fan had upset all of us,” said Mr. Nagendrababu. He gave a patient listening to the family members and assured them of help from his brother. He was one among the pall bearers. A large number of the village people joined the funeral procession. Mr. Nagendrababu, and his friends reached the village on Monday morning knowing about the suicide of Parthasarathy and devoted the whole day for the family. He had reportedly handed over a cheque for Rs. 1.25 lakh to the family. B. Srinivasa Rao of Annayya Charities from Viajayawada gave Rs. 25,000 towards the funeral expenses.
