Huge haul of explosives; woman held

ANANTAPUR: The One Town police on Monday raided a house in the Sixth Road area and seized a large number of gelatine sticks and electrical detonators stored illegally by one V. Ramalaxmi. The police took her into custody.

Giving the details DSP G.S. Karunakar said that a team led by CI B.V. Siva Reddy and SI Veeranna raided the house acting on specific information.

The police seized 2,800 gelatine sticks and 2,800 electrical detonators.
