NEW DELHI: A 14-year-old boy who had gone missing from his school in Pitampura here this past Friday was found dead on the railway tracks in neighbouring Faridabad on Sunday. The police suspect it to be a case of death by accident. Pushkar, son of Jagdish, was a Class VIII student of a school in Pitampura. According to the police, Pushkar was allegedly caught while cheating during an examination on February 1 and he went missing after that. The same evening he visited the house of his classmate Vikas and shared with him his plans to visit Mumbai. He told him that he knew a woman there, who would help him become an actor. The next morning, he went to school and met Vikas asking him to meet him at the railway station. The duo then boarded a Mumbai-bound train. As they had no money with them, Pushkar asked Vikas to sit along with a family to evade detection and he moved to another compartment. The police suspect that when the train was crossing Faridabad, Pushkar saw a train ticket examiner and in a bid to get off the train, fell down and sustained fatal injuries. Vikas was handed over to the Railway Police at Mathura and brought to the Capital.
