DUTA to stage dharna today

NEW DELHI: The Delhi University Teachers’ Association will stage a dharna at St. Stephen’s College this Tuesday to protest against “assault on the freedom of expression of teachers” by Officer on Special Duty Valson Thampu. In January, Mr. Thampu had served show-cause notices on two senior lecturers of the History Department. DUTA has been demanding withdrawal of these notices and an unconditional apology by the OSD.
