Staff Reporter

It provides a list of doctors, speciality clinics for free

BANGALORE: In this online era, when everything from shopping to travel tickets are just a click away, here is a brand-new portal which promises to deliver everything from doctors to diagnostic information, right at your doorstep.

A web portal, www.consulturdoctor.com., will help you solve your health problems by providing a list of doctors, speciality clinics and every possible health facility, and all for free.

From getting feedback for queries regarding health problems to mailing doctors to fix appointments, the portal facilitates a whole range of applications.

The portal has been launched by the URidentity. N. Gopal, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Adi Chunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences launched the portal here on Monday.

“The public can get health-related information and tips. We have planned to launch the portal in all major cities in India in a year. Mysore, Davangere, Chitradurga and Hubli-Dharwad cities are also included,” said K.S. Manohar, president of URidentity.

By logging on to the portal, one can do a locality-wise search for doctors, specialists, clinics, hospitals, fitness centres and healthcare centres.

Besides these user-friendly interfaces, the portal provides information about different aspects of health, human anatomy, diseases and disorders, treatment and treatment facilities.

P.S. Prabhakaran, Vice-Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, said the portal was useful for the public as it has all the details related to health.

The portal enlists nearly 1,000 doctors in the city as members, who can be contacted through this interface.

People who face difficulties related to general health or specific medical conditions can post their queries on the site and get expert feedback from doctors and other specialists.

Information that is crucial to the public, including a list of blood donors and blood availability, will also be provided.
