Mormugao meets Cochin

VISAKHAPATNAM: Last year’s runner-up Mormugao will meet Cochin in the final of the 32nd all-India Major Ports football championship at the Port Stadium here on Wednesday.

In Tuesday’s semifinals, Mormugao beat Tuticorin 2-0 through a brace scored by Augusto Monteiro, while Cochin beat host Visakhapatnam 1-0 with a fifth-minute goal from Anoj. — Special Correspondent
