Warrior Spirit shows out

Mumbai: Warrior Spirit and Premier Perception showed out when the horses were exercised here on Tuesday morning (Feb. 5).

Inner sand:

800m: Existenz (N. Jodha), Aiming High (Merchant) 53.5, 600/40. Former trounced the latter by a distance. Spirituall (C. Rajendra), Athena (McCullagh) 53.5, 600/40. Former who finished four lengths ahead may make amends. Ares (rb), Delta (I. Shaikh) 57, 600/42. Pair easy.

1,400m: Oyster Cove (N. Jodha) 1-39.5, 1,200/1-24.5, 600/43.5. Good.

Outer sand:

600m: Bay Destiny (Dashrath), Black Partridge (Tograllu) 41. Pair easy.

800m: Icebreaker (D. K. Ashish), Accumulate (Hamir) 52, 600/39. They moved level freely.

1,200m: Noble Replica (D. K. Ashish) 1-19.5, 1,000/1-5, 600/40. Moved well. Premier Perception (Hamir) 1-19, 600/40. Moved attractively. Warrior Spirit (D. K. Ashish), Black Dahlia (Hamir) 1-17, 600/39. Former strode out well and finished a distance ahead. Perfect Attraction (D. K. Ashish), Almandine (Hamir) 1-19, 800/52, 600/38.5. Former finished well clear.

Mock race (Race track) — Feb. 3:

1,000m: Enaksi (Merchant), Royal Flash (K. Kadam), Silent Presence (I. Shaikh), Rejuvenite (Daniel Grant), Flareon (Shailesh), Cincinnati (T. S. Jodha) and Theodoros (D. K. Ashish) 1-0.5, 600/35.5. Won by Sh, 1/2 and 1/2. Enaksi who was running third or fourth came well in the straight and finished close with Royal Flash. Rejuvenite was well in hand. Cincinnati and Theodoros were far behind.
