Polls to project committees sought

Alla Venkata Gopalakrishna Rao, general secretary, South India Farmers’ Water Management Organisation, has demanded that the government conduct polls to elect project committees from water distribution committees in various irrigation projects.

He said that this would help create a complete system of water distribution and its strengthening.
