Pothigai Express extended to Senkottai

CHENNAI: Union Minister of State for Railways R. Velu will inaugurate the newly converted broad gauge section between Tenkasi and Senkottai at a function in Senkottai on Wednesday.

With the opening of the section, Train No. 2661/2662 Chennai Egmore – Tenkasi – Chennai Pothigai Express will be extended to Senkottai from February 7 and 8 respectively, according to a Railways press release. — Special Correspondent
