NEW DELHI: Expanding its portfolio of products for the Indian market, U.S.-based Bose Corporation on Tuesday launched two ‘Lifestyle’ home theatre systems. Aimed at the premium audio systems market, the two home theatre systems — V20 and V30 — are priced at Rs. 1.69 lakh and Rs. 1.14 lakh, respectively.

Stating that the new products, imported from the U.S. as a complete built-in units, will be available from this month-end, Bose Corporation India General Manager, Ratish Pandey, said the products had been accepted well in the Indian market and soon Bose Corporation would be expanding the base in the country. Equipped with 5.1 surround sound for movies, music, sports and video games, the new music systems include five small speaker arrays, a hideaway media console, an ‘acoustimass’ remote and a standalone display. Bose Corporation has seven flagship and nine experience stores in nine cities. “We have added stores in Jaipur and Ludhiana this year. Among all the cities, Delhi has been the biggest market for our products, and the customers include big hotels and corporate offices,” said Mr. Pandey. On setting up a manufacturing unit in India, he said the company was watching the manufacturing trends in India and if the volumes were high, they might set up a manufacturing unit in the future.
