Rs.2.14 crore assets seized in ACB raids

HYDERABAD: Assets worth over Rs.2.14 crore belonging to Kanumilli Sudheer, Superintending Engineer, Nagarjunasagar Left Bank Canal, Tekulapalli (Khammam district) were seized on Tuesday by the Anti-Corruption Bureau officials following simultaneous searches conducted here and in Khammam, Srikakulam, Kodada and other places.
Houses belonging to his close relatives and friends were also searched resulting in unearthing of assets. They included four apartments here and in Khammam, two buildings at Kodada, land at Kulluru (Medak district) and Narsingi and at Kodada, all worth Rs.1,54, 29, 650, an ACB press release saidThe movable properties unearthed included five bank accounts in the name of Sudheer and his family members .
