Free TV sets to be distributed in Vellore

CHENNAI: The third phase of distribution of free colour television sets and gas stoves with LPG cylinder connections will be organised at Vellore on February 16.

An official release said Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi would distribute the free materials at a function.

A total of 34.25 lakh television would be given out in the third phase. Of this, nearly 10.53 lakh would be distributed in Vellore. Ministers would distribute the materials in different parts of the State on February 17. — Special Correspondent
