AIDWA condoles leader’s death

CHENNAI: The All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) has condoled the death of Shajadhi, who was among the top nine leaders when it was founded at Dindigul in 1973. Recalling the leader’s activities in the Association’s first unit at Nellikuppam, AIDWA president N. Amirtham and general secretary U. Vasuki called upon their cadres in Tamil Nadu to salute her memory. — Special Correspondent
