PSNA beats Alagappa Chettier CET

J. Prasanna Venkatesh’s unbeaten 117 guided Madurai DCA to 189 for eight on day one of the TNCA inter-District under-13 semifinal against Tiruvallur DCA.

S. Hariram Ganesh’s 107 enabled Tiruvallur gain a 129-run first innings lead against Tiruchi on the second day of the TNCA under-22 inter-district cricket final here on Wednesday.

Resuming at the overnight score of 100 for two, Tiruvallur was dismissed for 318.

At stumps, Tiruchi was struggling at 57 for the loss of four wickets in its second innings.

The scores: Tiruchi 189 & 57 for four in 14 overs vs. Tiruvallur 318 in 106 overs (S. Hariram Ganesh 107 (P. Shijith Chandran 80).

Coimbatore in final

Coimbatore entered the final of the TNCA u-13 inter-district cricket tournament here on Wednesday by virtue of its first innings lead over Tiruvarur.

J. Kowsik’s unbeaten century helped Coimbatore score 478, giving it a first innings lead of 411 runs.

The scores: Tiruvarur 67 & 82 for five in 31 overs (S. Sivarajan 27, V. Dhanush three for 24) drew with Coimbatore 478 for eight decl. in 109 overs (J. Kowsik 107 not out, Rushab Bafna 86, V. Dhanush 75, C. Hari Nishanth 66, Vignesh Karthik 40, Jagadeesan 32, Saravanan three for 77).
