Easy for Hyderabad Heroes

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Heroes scored an 80-run win over Mumbai Champs in the ICL cricket tournament at Lahari Resorts, near here, on Wednesday. Batting first, Hyderabad scored 276 for eight in 50 overs with Sashank Nag (63), D. Vinay Kumar (62) being the main scorers.

In reply, Mumbai Champs was bowled out for 196 in 42.4 overs despite a fighting century by Dheeraj Jadhav (101 not out, 113b, 12x4). Medium-pacer P. Kaushik Reddy picked up three for 34 for the host, which also picked a bonus point.

The scores: Hyderabad Heroes 276 for eight in 50 overs (Shashank Nag 63, Vinay Kumar 62) bt Mumbai Champs 196 in 42.4 overs (Dheeraj Jadhav 101 not out).
