Saravanan, Badani score centuries

CHENNAI: Centuries from V. Saravanan and Hemang Badani powered Chennai Superstars to a six-wicket win over Kolkata Tigers in a high-scoring ICL 50s match on Wednesday.

Saravanan and Badani added 209 as the Superstars overhauled the Tigers’ total of 311 for seven with 11 balls to spare. Man-of-the-Match Badani scored 112 in 94 balls (8x4, 4x6). Saravanan (107 n.o.) hit the winning runs

The scores: Kolkata Tigers 311 for seven in 50 overs (Subhomoy Das 80, Rohan Gasvaskar 61, Deep Dasgupta 54) lost to Chennai Superstars 315 for four in 48.1 overs (R. Sathish 42, V. Saravanan 107 n.o., Hemang Badani 112).
