Naveen Gehlot smashes century

NEW DELHI: A fine century by Naveen Gehlot and a four-wicket bag by Sarabjeet Singh powered Kranti Star Club to a 197-run victory over Essex Farm in the Super Elite division of the DDCA cricket league.

The scores:

Premier division: Malviya CC 187 for nine in 40 overs (Satender Yadav 50) bt Madras CC 164 in 37 overs (Varun Sood 57, Praveen Thapar four for 24).

Super Elite: T.N. Colts 133 in 37 overs (Amanjeet four for 18) lost to Rohtak Road Gymkhana 137 for no wicket in 18 overs (Saurabh Passi 106 not out).

Kranti Star CC 286 for eight in 40 overs (Naveen Gehlot 129, Sandeep Singh 55) bt Essex Farm 89 in 28 overs (Sarabjeet Singh four for 19).

Super Plate: Delhi Wanderers 206 for six in 40 overs (Arjun Tyagi 59) bt Raghubir Willowers 179 in 36 overs (Gagan Sodhi 41, Sanjay Rawat five for 27).
