IAS, KAS officials transferred

Bangalore: The State Government on Wednesday transferred several IAS and KAS officials.

H. Bhasker, waiting for posting, has been appointed Commissioner for Sericulture Development and Director of Sericulture, Bangalore.

Mahendra Jain, waiting for posting, has been made Commissioner, Collegiate Education, Bangalore.

K. Shivaram, Commissioner, Mass Education, Bangalore, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Youth Services Department, Bangalore.

Abdul Bari Nawab, waiting for posting, has been appointed Managing Director, Mysore Electrical Industries Ltd., Bangalore.

K.H. Aswathanarayana Gowda, waiting for posting, has been appointed Managing Director, Mysore Sugar Company Limited, Bangalore. P. K. Garg, IPS, has been transferred.

Mohammed Mohsin has been transferred as Managing Director, Hubli Electricity Company Ltd., Hubli. Shankaranarayan, KAS, transferred.

D.K. Rangaswamy, waiting for posting, has been made Director of Mass Education, in the downgraded post.

K. Shivaram has been transferred. K. Amaranarayana has been posted as Managing Director, KEONICS, Bangalore.

H. R. Srinivasa, Additional Project Director (Planning & Co-ordination), Sujala Watershed Development Department, Bangalore, has been transferred and posted as Director of Agricultural Marketing.

V.B. Patil, waiting for posting, appointed Joint Commissioner of Excise, Bangalore. Gowrishankar, KAS, has been transferred.

B. Shivappa, waiting for posting, has been made Joint Director, Food and Civil Supplies Department, Bangalore. N.S. Channappa Gowda, waiting for posting, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Bangalore Urban. K. Chandrashekar, KAS, transferred.

J. Ravishankar, waiting for posting, has been appointed Deputy Secretary to Government, DPAR (Services), Bangalore, in the downgraded post, due to transfer of Tushar Girinath.

Mr. Ravishankar is also placed in concurrent charge of the post of Director, Information Technology and Biotechnology, until further orders relieving Rakesh Singh, who is holding additional charge.

The orders posting Gaurav Gupta as Commissioner, Urban Transport Cell, Urban Development Department, has been cancelled.

He will continue as Commissioner for Employment and Training.

Mr. Gupta is also in-charge of Commissioner, Urban Transport Cell (Urban Development Department), Bangalore.

Neeraja Rajkumar has been appointed chairperson of Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation.
