NEW DELHI: Mukesh Ambani owned Reliance Retail Ltd. (RRL) is all set to launch automotive super speciality stores across the country. It also plans retailing of two-wheelers and pre-used branded cars as part of its strategy to provide all solutions under one roof. The company has already launched its first AutoZone at Jamnagar in Gujarat. The AutoZone offers four-wheeler and two-wheeler services under one roof. It is expected that by the end of this year, nearly 80 to 100 stores would be opened countrywide. StrategyAccording to Chief Executive of Reliance Retail (Automotive Business) Arun Dey, this is just the beginning and the company has a pan India strategy in mind. Mr. Dey said the AutoZone would provide value added services like car care, car detailing and many other services. The AutoZone had world-class systems that included the state-of-the-art facility including high performance equipment, smokeless exhaust system, water treatment with recycle facility and well trained manpower. Reliance AutoZone also plans to enter into vehicle retailing arena. In the pre-owned car space, it would provide a wide choice of multi make and multi model pre-owned cars at various price points.
