Ex-players feted

The Visakhapatnam District Cricket Association on Wednesday felicitated former England pace bowler Mike Hendricks and former Indian off-spinner M.V. Narasimha Rao, who are currently engaged in a coaching camp for Andhra Ranji and age group players being held in the city.

Former president of Andhra Cricket Association D.V. Subba Rao and noted sports broadcaster and former Rector of Andhra University A. Prasanna Kumar honoured Hendricks and Narasimha Rao respectively on behalf of VDCA.

VDCA vice-president P.R. Narayanaswami, secretary K. Parthasaradhi, other office-bearers attended the function.
