Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Terror suspects Riyazuddin Nasir and Asadulla Abubaker were brought to the city on Tuesday to subject them to polygraph, brain mapping and narco analysis tests.

According to an official, one of the suspects underwent polygraph test at the State’s Forensic Science Laboratory in Madivala. The process went on till late in the night and would be resumed on Wednesday. After completion of polygraph, the suspects would undergo the other two tests. The Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Honnali, Davangere, had permitted the police to conduct the narco analysis test on the suspects, he said.

The two suspects are being subjected to these tests to clarify certain claims made during interrogation. The police are also keen on ascertaining the network of terror modules in Karnataka, their targets and about the whereabouts of the consignment of firearms that had been supplied to them by their handlers in Pakistan.
