Man stabbed to death

NEW DELHI: A 40-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death at Lajpat Nagar here on Wednesday.

Joginder Singh, a resident of Faridabad, was found dead with stab wounds at a guest house in the Amar Colony police station area in the early hours. The police said the assailant had even tried to set the body on fire in an apparent bid to conceal the identity of the deceased. Joginder was a driver with a private company and had come to meet a relative staying at the guest house. The police suspect that the victim, who was in an inebriated state, could have been killed following an altercation.
