75-year-old man found dead

NEW DELHI: A 75-year-old retired teacher was found dead in his one-room rented accommodation at Patel Nagar here on Tuesday. B.K. Gupta had been living in the Patel Nagar house for the past 35 years. According to the police, he earlier worked as a teacher in a private institute and had retired about 10 years ago.

The incident came to light when someone came to meet him and on not getting a response to his repeated knocks called up the police. There were no external injuries and nothing was found missing from the house. A muffler was wrapped around the neck creating the suspicion that he could have been strangled.
